All hosting account come with basic stats facility, but for the more advanced system we use Google Analytics – easy to setup with a little code added to your site, you will be up and running in no time at all.
Website Maintenance
If you have chosen a Content Management System (CMS) you will be given a password protected control panel area to which to work from so that you can have the flexibility to modify the website text and images easily and rapidly yourself without any programming skills whatsoever. If you have chosen not to go with a CMS and prefer us to make the changes, we will be happy to put a maintenance package in place otherwise we charge you on an hourly basis as and when you need modifications. Whatever method of maintenance you choose, CGDesigns is dedicated to making sure your website is a success for the long term, and we will always be a phone call away.
Stage by Stage Process
Client Brief
A meeting between CGDesigns and the client is arranged for an initial discussion and to brainstorm about the website design, functionality, budget and timing requirements. This can be done in person or through email and telephone.
Proposal
The proposal is compiled by CGDesigns, after collating the full client brief, which details web and graphic design ideas, amount of potential pages, self up-dateable sections, the estimated price, and the production processes required to achieve the end result. Some research is done at this stage between us and the client to document the keywords/key phases for the project, timing and invoice plans through to completion.
Approval & Contract
Once the client is satisfied with the proposal, the contract is signed to commence with website design.
Screenshot Designs
We start the design process, a number separate visuals/screenshots are designed, and are presented to the client, and once a preferred design idea is chosen, the concept is further developed and set ready for coding.
Site Construction
Depending on what is required for each site, a structure for the site is prepared, we start coding the individual pages, functionality is programmed, and site content added, and website design is in a progressive stage. It is important to note that this stage will be carried out on our own servers.
Evaluation
The website is thoroughly tested for errors and bugs, for instance, to ensure restricted areas are properly secure. The clients general feedback is requested in order to finalize the build.
Site Construction Final Stages
All final stages of the build are completed with one last evaluation from the client for final approval.
Final Delivery
The website is loaded to the final webspace and connected to your domain name where it will appear live to the Internet.
